There are seven models in the list of new products Renault will present in 2021.
French magazine L’Automobile has analysed the new products Renault intends to bring to the market next year.
Renault will sell the Arkana crossover coupe in Western Europe. Vehicles for the continental market will be produced in South Korea at the Samsung Motors plant. Unlike the Dacia Duster-based version for Russia, the Renault Arkana for Europe is technically close to the latest Clio and Captur models.
A new Renault Captur hybrid will go on sale next spring. There is a plug-in hybrid version of the crossover on the market today. Apparently, the automaker wants to draw more buyers to the electrified Captur by adding the cheaper hybrid modification. Expect the price around 26,500 euros for the entry-level car.
Moreover, the Megane plug-in hybrid hatchback will join the brand’s lineup in spring 2021. This modification will cost 38,000 euros. Previously, the E-tech was only available for the Renault Megane estate.
Two newcomers are expected in the LCV segment: in 2021, the company introduces the new-generation Renault Kangoo on the Mégane’s platform, with petrol, diesel and all-electric powertrains. The Kangoo seven-seater arrives as well.
The new Renault Express will replace the Dacia Dokker, at least in France. It is simpler than the new Kangoo and likely cheaper, but not less practical.
Finally, the French company will start selling the updated Renault Scénic and Renault Koleos next year.
