Fiat has refreshed the 500 lineup adding new exterior colors, some tweaks inside, new specifications.
Trims and Prices
The starting price in the UK is £13,270 for the Fiat 500 hatchback. The Fiat 500L MPV costs £18,030, and the 500X crossover is priced from £19,860.
The trio has the same trim-level structure updated for 2021.
The Pop trim level is a base one. It offers blue fabric seats and the dash in Techno Blue. A new Sicialian orange paint is available too.
The Fiat 500 Connect (from £15,000) comes with a 7.0-inch infotainment system, a multifunction sports steering wheel, a pair of exclusive seats; a matte silver finish for the instrument panel, 15-inch alloy wheels, fog lamps; cruise control, parking sensors.
The Fiat 500L Connect (from £19,330) gets an upgraded infotainment system, 16-inch alloy wheels, body-coloured door mirrors.
The 500X Connect (from £20,760) offers 17-inch alloy wheels, rain-sensing windscreen wipers, automatic headlights and LED daytime running lights; rear privacy glass.
The Dolcevita trim level (from £15,000) adds chrome exterior finish, a glass sunroof, a body-coloured dashboard. ‘Dolcevita’ badges. A two-tone paint scheme is optional.
The Dolcevita Plus trim (plus £1,500 to the Fiat 500’s price tag) offers a 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster, 3D satellite navigation, automatic climate control, 16-inch alloys.
The 500X and 500L receive a new Cross specification. The Fiat 500L Cross (from £20,430) features 17-inch alloys, front fog lamps, rear parking sensors, automatic air conditioning, rain-sensing wipers, automatic headlights, camouflage upholstery. Black leather seats are optional.
The Fiat 500X (from £22,560) comes with 19-inch alloy wheels, automatic air conditioning, a roof rack, camouflage upholstery for the seats.
The range-topping Sport trim (from £16,500 for the 500 hatchback) boasts new 16-inch alloy wheels and new electric seats, automatic air conditioning, privacy glass, the 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster.
The 500L Sport (from £21,330) has 17-inch alloy wheels, an auto-dimming rear-view mirror, privacy glass, an ambient interior lighting system.
The Fiat 500X Sport (from £23,560) features black 18-inch alloys, a unique Fashion Grey colour.
Powertrains
The Fiat 500 comes with a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder 69-bhp / 51.5-kW (92 Nm / 67.9 lb-ft) mild-hybrid petrol engine mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. The top speed is 53.3 mpg (85.8 km/h).
The Fiat 500X offers two engines. The first is a standard turbocharged 1.0-litre 3-cylinder one that produces 118 bhp (88 kW) and 190 Nm (140 lb-ft) of torque in combination with the 6-speed manual gearbox.
The second engine is a 1.3-litre turbo-four with 148 bhp (110.4 kW) and 270 Nm (199 lb-ft) of torque in pair with a six-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The top speed is 124 mph (199.6 km/h).
The Fiat 500L comes with a 1.4-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine making 93 bhp (69.4 kW) and 127 Nm (93.7 lb-ft) of torque.
All engine are compliant to Euro 6D emission standard.
