Audi Revises SQ2 For Europe, Deliveries At the Beginning Of 2021

The compact sporty SUV has got a fresher look and a strong performance.

The Audi SQ2 has been updated. Since its debut 2 years ago, the SQ2 has made a name for itself as a spirited model for individualists who appreciate a standalone design, a high utility, and dynamic handling.

Its appearance has become bolder thanks to new LED headlights and bumpers, a revised Singleframe.

New connect services and assist systems make driving of the SQ2 even more effortless. Audi‘s connect emergency call & service and connect remote & control are new additions to the standard equipment.

The myAudi app is available free. The Audi smartphone interface, the Audi phone box, and the Bang & Olufsen Premium Sound System complete the infotainment program.

The new SQ2 comes with the Audi pre sense front safety system as standard. Adaptive Cruise Assist and Park Assist are added as optional systems.

The new car offers a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged TFSI with decent 221 kW (296 hp) and a constant 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) torque between 2,000 and 5,300 rpm.

The engine has an excellent throttle response. Its sound becomes fuller when the vehicle speeds up, in part due to the flaps in the exhaust system.

Thanks to electronically controlled quattro all-wheel drive, a 7-speed S tronic transmission and an S sport suspension, the engine’s power is applied smoothly to the road.

This suspension lowers the body by 20 mm (0.8 in). The standard progressive steering is geared in such a way that its steering ratio becomes more direct as the angle increases. This makes the SQ2 more agile when maneuvering, in urban traffic, and in tight curves.

The car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.9 seconds. Its top speed achieves 250 km/h (155.3 mph). An average fuel consumption is 7.7 l/100 km (30.5 US mpg).

The Audi SQ2 comes with 18-inch alloy wheels and size 235/45 tires. 19-inch wheels with size 235/40 tires are available as well. The large brakes have S-badged red brake calipers.

The exterior color palette includes ten choices. The attachments are available in selenite silver (standard), Manhattan gray, platinum gray, and brilliant black.

Dark tones, specific and upscale materials (including pure Nappa leather, leather + microfiber Dinamica), recycled polyester are used for the interior of the Audi SQ2.

Presales of the revised Audi SQ2 will commence shortly in Germany and other European countries. Deliveries are scheduled to start at the beginning of next year. The base price in Germany is EUR 45,700 (including 19% VAT).
